You said somewhere that people are not interested in other people's portraits - generally true, but your portraits have something very attractive - the characters are interesting and your technique makes them interesting as well.

Happy Birthday, Mike and thanks for those paintings. They look much better in real life - they look great on line as well, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

heres a mate that I taught fencing to as a young fella back in 1982 ,
he sub contracted for me till I packed it in
he's got a " well weathered " head

the one before this , he came round with his missus to pick it up, and they loved so much , have ordered one of her , so that they face each other on the wall
