Hey everyone, just letting you know about the upcoming Art for Chimps exhibition at South Australia's Monarto Zoo. Featuring the works of Leigh Rust and Patrick Hedges, the exhibition will kick off on October 5th to coincide with the official opening of the zoo's new chimp habitat.
Opening the show will be world renowned primatologist Dr Jane Goodall. We'd like to publicly thank her for generosity in doing this. The opening day is expected to see a mammoth crowd of 3000 through the doors and we'll be on show until the end of the year.
35% of all proceeds raised will be going to the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone and another 35% will go the the zoo.
Both artists will be demonstrating their techniques on the opening day. We look forward to seeing you there!
