Many moons ago Young Brad Buchel emailed me to join his new art forum and check out his online art exhibition guide (around 2005 I recollect). Well, I may be slow, but I finally got here!

So I'm giving a big wave "hello" to all the others out there in cyberartland. I recognise a couple of you from the quick look around that I've had here. Wow, the place certainly has grown in a few short years. Well done Brad, and to all the members that make an online Forum a good place to be.

As a full time uni student in the arts, I'm struggling to fit all the things into daily life. Spare Time is the Holy Grail! No hang on, Spare Time WITH a cold drink is the Holy Grail.

Hoping to get to know more of you and your passions in art a lot better,

Cheers

Cindy

Hi Daniel and Grant,

Both of you are very busy boys by the look of your websites. And may I add that I am in awe of both your work.

Thank you both for extending the hand of "Welcome".

Just wondering how shy some of the other members are here. I notice lots and lots of views on threads, but replies can be few and far between....

Roll on Friday arvo!

Cheers,

Cindy

Thanks Kim,

**Sigh** your work is so beautiful too.

My box of schminkes suffered terribly on it's trip across the continent. I slowly opened the wooden box, peered furtively inside, and slammed the drawer shut. Everything is now reduced to rainbow dust.

Another big **SIGH**.

Hope to see more of our work soon.

Cheers

Cindy

Hi Sierra,

If you should ever come across a fairy that needs a bucketful of rainbow dust, send her my way. My crystal is now fine white dust as well, but not nearly as pretty as the pastel remains!

Unfortunatley the pastels weren't the only casualites on our trek from Perth to Cairns. Apart from the mashed art supplies (inc most of my full sheets of watercolour papers), things like the dining suite, rug, even stainless steel pots and pans have holes worn into them. And yet everything was wrapped in bubblewrap and felted packing blankets. Even the removalists were impressed with the level of damage "What a trip!" one exclaimed as he stuck his hand through our living room floor rug.

Yes, stores here have been delighted to sell me new supplies. I do miss Jacksons in Perth, which used to be my "Happy Place". No matter how hard I look, I canna find my calligraphy pens. Up here in Cairns there is practically nothing that I have found to replace them, so maybe it's telephone order time to Wills Quills (Dangerous with a credit card.....)

Cheers

That's kind of a very big move Perth to Cairns. Hope you get along with the climate.
And I know how poor the situation is here in Qld with art supplies. I live near Brissie but even here it's a struggle to get certain materials.
Have to order down south in Melbourne or Sydney and my credit card takes a beating too. Crying or Very sad

Cheers

Hi Scott,

I notice you have Paul Margoscy's work at the gallery - Now if anyone needs a good spanking, it's that Essendon supporting Paul! No, just kidding, he's a great guy (and fantastic artist), despite his footy leanings!

So does Dug deserve one then?

Cheers

Have a great weekend.

Dunno about Daniel, but I work with a room full of Macs and am online most of the time - I don't think other members are shy, just have better balanced lives Smile

Cheers
