I'm in New Farm. Unfortunately I don't have any space here at all. If you have a studio available maybe we might be able to do a deal? I've been looking for somewhere that I could use to take photos of models. If I could use your studio you would be welcome to take photos at the same time. I'll just have to check some details first, but would you be interested? (I use to move all my furniture out of the lounge room, but I've gotten heavier furniture since I last had a photo shoot! lol)

I remember this conversation!

I wonder what happened to us?

I've moved - I now live at Norman Park. Did you ever get your studio finished? Are you still interested in life drawing? I certainly would be, if we can find a place. Here just isn't suitable. Maybe if we can find 5 or 6 artists over this side of town who were interested, someone is sure to have a place with a garage or something big enough!

Email me - eliza@elizasart.com - if you are still interested Smile

Morahh -

The BIA life drawing group (untutored) is on Monday evennings, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm (3 hours). Cost is $10. There are easels and tables. BYO materials. It's a good group.

The address is 40 Grafton St, Windsor (the big building across from the sports grounds). It's about 10 minutes' walk from Windsor or Albion train stations. (Take a street directory with you the first time - you could get lost in this area.)

BIA's website is at: http://www.brisart.org/

I recommend David Paulsen's classes. This semester he's teaching watercolour on Monday mornings and life drawing Monday afternoons. Classes have begun and enrolments have closed, but that may not be a problem. It probably won't matter that you missed some classes.

Atelier Art classes, is Salisbury- south bris has 2 model sessions

Wednesday sketch club. 7- 9 pm, which was $10

Also theres a long pose on Saturdays, which lasts for 5 weeks!
That cost me $5 per hour. $25 for the day.

Its a warehouse with artist studios around a common area, where the model poses. Good lighting, nice artwork over the walls too
