Inaugural Peppermint Bay Sculpture Prize

Will be held from August 28, Through September to October 1 and will feature twenty sculptors exhibiting their works in the grounds of Peppermint Bay.

The twenty sculptures will be on view daily at Peppermint Bay and the public will be able to vote for their favourite sculpture.

Peppermint Bay and Kingborough Council have each put forward acquisition prizes to purchase one of the amazing artworks as well as an Emerging Artist's Prize will also be announced on the day. For more information on this art event contact: Shannon: 03 6233 5940

Of all the sculpture that are at Peppermint Bay permanently it seems... My favourite would have to be the two large metal drop shaped sculpture that hang from the old oak tree...they hold a round river rock in each one at the bottom and there's something really simple and slightly disturbing about them (strange fruits Sad )
