Minxdragon - I'm hoping of getting to a Waverley Arts Society session in the next few weeks - did you or anyone arrange to end up going?

Howdy all,
I becoame a member of the Contemporary Art Society of Victoria. they organise exhibitions all the time and it's through them that I got to exhibit my work for the first time.
Coming up is the Herring Island exhibition where a few art societies come together to exhibit.
check it out, they have quartely news letters and are very welcoming to new artists. Recently we had Art at Burnley exhibition along the Yarra River it was fantastic.
Artworks were sold ranging from $70 - $2000.

Hey minxdragon,
I'm located not far from you at Hughesdale. I have a home studio where I paint and teach. Mum and dad had the studio built in 1967. They designed it for the southern hemisphere and can accommodate up to 10 students. Mum has retired, dad passed away and I am promoting classes.
It is always great to catch up with fellow artists and would love to extend an invite to anyone who cares to visit and chat over a cuppa. |
