Artists (20-25 years) from northern suburbs of Perth are needed to participate in an exhibition to be held sometime 2007. All mediums and forms of art wanted.
I would like to form a collaboration of different artists to exhibit together, hopefully on an annual basis. I am looking for emerging painters, sculptors etc who have not yet exhibited, those that take their art seriously but haven't the funds to show individually.
I am hoping to hold it in the first half of next year probably in Joondalup.

Sorry if I made you feel your age!  I am just looking to start a group that can grow together and show together and all that nonsense. Not to say that your wisdom and experience would not be appreciated!
However I am not getting very much feedback, is art dead in Perth or what? If I am looking in the wrong place please tell me! |

Also, am currently contemplating the idea of a group show with several others my age or younger.. We haven't really planned too much yet though. If you post more details I'll let them know of the proposal and get them to make contact if they're interested.

Hi Brooke, I’m 21 and in my second semester of visual arts at ECU. I’m interested in becoming a part of the art community in Perth and your concept of "growing together" sounds like an excellent idea for artists in Perth. I would love to see Perth evolve into a blooming art centre! If you are still interested (I know this was posted quite a while ago now) reply and we can talk more about it  . |

Since this never really sees to have gotten off the ground.. Anyone interested in trying to take this into our own hands?
I'll be back in Perth in the New Year and it'd be great to see if we could put a group together... common interests of course. |
