I managed to squeeze some painting time in this weekend and finally dusted off a few pandanus reference photo's I've been meaning to use... here's the 'work in progress' so far - still lots of detail to add but I'm happy with the way they're heading

| I love the composition of the one on the left. It has great movement and colour contrast. |

thanks guys, yep think I'm liking this one. I've added just a little bit more detail and the colours in this photo are better too (although the background is actually little bit lighter)

| They are great, the detail really makes it. But I like the one on the right too and with some highlights on the edge of the leaves like you have done on the main painting, it would really make it. |
