I am excited to be part of the 'Open Studios' on the weekend of Sat & Sun 11 & 12 Sept. Even though I didn't begin working in my Studio till after the closing dates to be included.
The Festival people were very helpful and at least I made it into the online list for Manly. I am amazed at how many artists are working away in studios which I only found when the Manly Arts Festival brochure and online events were published.
I do hope other artists on the Northern beaches will let us all know here if they will open on that weekend - even if like me you didn't realise it was coming up.
The more the merrier.
Officially the 2 week festival opens this Friday Sept 3.
Do come and see me struggling with whatever I'm working on between 10 am and 3pm at 97 Sydney Rd, Manly.
