I would like to let everyone know about my upcoming photography workshop.
Are you in a rut?
Do you find your images are not saying what you want them to say?
Do you want your images to be able to communicate more than just the visual elements?
Do you want to be able to connect more deeply with a scene and convey that through your photograph?
Do you want to develop your photographic ’vision’?
Do you only have ‘one off’ images which fall short of being able to develop your intended thought or concept?
Do you want to learn how to objectively evaluate your own photographs?
Do you want to be able to identify the impediments to you making powerful images?
Do you want to become more inspired with your photography?
Do you want your images to really touch and speak to others?
If you have answered YES to any of the above,
come to my workshop where you will be INSPIRED.
* Learn how to objectively evaluate your images.
* Learn how to identify and evaluate elements you intend to photograph.
* Learn how to connect more with, and express the intrinsic value of what you intend to photograph.
* Learn how to develop practices which support developing the vision you want to convey.
* Learn skills to create images which together form a cohesive unit which explores and expresses theme or concept for examination, inquiry or reflection.
The focus of the workshop will be concerned with the aesthetics of photography and how you can more effectively express what you want to say through your photographic images. This workshop is NOT dealing with the technical aspects of camera useage.
I am holding this inspirational workshop in my studio at Wamuran, on a beautiful quiet property away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
This is an ideal opportunity to recharge your creative vision and learn skills to help you connect with taking photographs and making images which not only reflect something about who you are and how you connect with your subject matter as well as developing and creating the vision you have for these photographs; but also stimulate inquiry, reflection or emotional response in others as well.
You will also learn how to evaluate your images objectively and learn how to discern which images ‘speak’ more than others and why.
This workshop class is limited to 6 students to ensure a supportive, personalised environment.
Come and be inspired in this workshop to take a fresh look at your photographic practice and learn how to ‘hear through your eyes.’
