If you left one of your paintings on the side of the road in Abbotsford I think you should read this item about the Akley Prize winner Jake Walker.
Quote from Raymond Gill's article in todays Age :-
'Walker claimed the inaugural Arkley Prize last night for four works, which play with the idea of naive landscapes, and one of them is almost entirely appropriated. Walker has included a naive painting he found in the rain on the side of the road in Abbotsford to which he has changed some elements and added text. ''I'm kind of scared that if my profile goes up [the original painter] might come forward," he joked.'

I went to the opening last night. It was so crowded it was impossible to see works or to move. Nice to be part of the buzz though.
