Hi Folks,

I haven't been on the boards much this year, but I thought I'd pop in and invite you all to an exhibition I'm having in a couple of weeks.

'Featherlution' is @gaffa gallery (gallery3)
http://www.gaffa.com.au/

opening night is Thursday 12/8/10 6-8pm

Following on from a show I had earlier in the year called 'Birdbrain' (scroll down a bit in the Look at me section) the exhibition of illustrations still uses birds as a visual theme to explore other ideas, in this case obssession.

Cheers

Just a reminder that the exhibition opens this Thursday 12/08/10
6pm - 8pm

I'm almost done framing everything, and I'm really happy with how it's coming together. Also after a year and a half working on 'birds' I'll be glad to get this out there so I can move on to other things.

Cheers
Andrew

Thanks Belle,

I found chickens much eaiser to draw than pigeons for some reason,
the text scribbled in the background of the image says 'which came first, the chicken or the egg?' and 'why did the chicken cross the road?' repeated over and over.

I liked that these two somewhat philosophical statements are both concerned with the simple chook.

Hi

Just wanted to remind you that there are only a few days left on my exhibition, Featherlution . So far I've had a great response and sold a few things. It's the first show I've had in some time where I was completely happy with it.

Thanks for looking.
A.
