| Tango I check in on the forum pretty eartly in the morning and I can reliably inform you that there is still spam. Our good moderators must be deleting it a bit earlier than usual. |

| I suspect the world has come to an end and all that is happening is being compressed into the last millisecond. |

I have lived long enough to know being pleased quite often turns into a ''why did I ever paint that ?''..... so they hang around the studio for a while till I work out if they are friend or foe..... |

It is indeed a luxury
and a surprise that the black spots on the floor are indeed just black spots and not multi-legged beasties |

Soon you'll be on the North-side, hope you like cicadas in your trees and the odd cockroach or two in your house during summer |

I lived in Killara for a while when I was younger, I've also lived in Willoughby and Sailors Bay.
I loved it.
I hate to say it but where I'm living at the moment is full of meat heads and morons with nothing to do at night but get drunk and try to piss every one off by doing wheelies shouting obscenities letting off ammonia bombs, throwing eggs at houses and passing cars...throwing all of their rubbish out of their cars into the gutter, spraying tags over anything that doesn't move and just generally being moronic losers.
People also drink in the oval next to my daughters school and throw the bottles and smash them in the school grounds.
I am stressed because I want to kill them but I'm not allowed to.
Feeling this way doesn't help me make paintings...I dread Saturday nights and the police just don't care because they can't do anything anyway.
A few years ago there was an old dump of a rental house right next to the Engadine police station.
It had a few losers living in there that were involved in selling drugs.
A fight broke out and one guy shot another guy in the chest and got away...this happen right next to the police station!???
I can handle a few cockroaches and cicadas.
Time to go. |

OMG... sounds like Hell....
The North Shore is really a paradise, I love living here...
Particularly the Lower North Shore...
We still get the odd hoon and some graffiti tagging, but people are generally respectful to one another and look after their appearance... .
Wait till you go to the supermarket, people are so polite you'll think it's another country...lol
Although our State Government is doing it's best to screw the place up... anyhow, that's another story.
Welcome neighbor |

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm really looking forward to living somewhere quiet and being able to think positively.
I'm sure my painting will improve.
We have bought a house right on the edge of the Ku-Ring-Gai National Park and I'm looking forward to exploring the Hawkesbury river around Bobbin Head, Akuna Bay and the beaches within Pittwater. |
