| We are a small NE Vic country football club taking on a huge and different project: An art and photgraphy exhibition/competition: SPARTA 2010. The only criterion is that the subject matter of works must depict some aspect of sport. Any suggestions as to how to attract entries...we have mustered $1500 worth of prize money (Just a pittance for you proffessional artists, I know, but I did say we were small...) |

That sounds fine. You could also get it listed on http://www.artprizedatabase.com.au/
and provide us with details and a link in the Art Competitions section.
You could also list it in the Competitions section of www.australianartforum.com

In that case I think $1500 will still draw plenty of entries for you.
