| Hey that looks alright! How prolific are you, I just realised that you seem to post a new painting every week! How do you find the time for it? |

I really like the way you are moving with your wildlife/domestic animal paintings. Great work
I have never been great with advice, so feel free to disagree.
If it was mine I might consider a little more shadow to define the chest and body of the stag. You have done a great job with his face and antlers, but his body seems like it is missing a little detail.
I am a details kinda person though, so I am not sure another person would have the same thoughts. =] |

I agree with altheau. I was just going to suggest that too. A bit more darker contrast on the Stag's side/shadow area to make it POP as it kinda blends in and my focus is taken directly behind it into the background of the painting where the river is. This area could be toned down a little to be a bit duller so not to detract from the stag.
I love your painterly brush marks and limited colour palette.
How long did it take you to complete? |

| Oh great! More improved. The stag really stands tall and has an 'aura' about it now. Good work |
