The bane of my existence! I'm not keen on cats, and gigner in particular I really struggle with so this one will be interesting to say the least. It is a commission (will the commissions ever slow down so I can draw my mum's 3 dogs for her birthday???)

A4 on Canson Mi Teintes in Derwent pastel pencils and some Rembrandt soft pastels. I have never used to pencils before, as I've only ever used soft pastels so not only am I doing a ginger cat but trying out a new 'tool'.. talk about throwing myself in the deep end Shocked Laughing

Thanks Clive, still in it's baby stages the eyes need a lot more touching up yet. I'm terrified of ginger fur, so putting the rest off until after I finish my exams, don't need any further stress added, particularly when one exam is worth 60% of my grade Confused Damn uni I'd much rather be sitting at home drawing all day!

Thankyou Smile It's not totally finished in the last shot, will have to go through my folders and find the finished photo. It was first go with pencils, and using them on a horrid ginger cat was a big challenge, but they were must easier to work with than straight soft pastels.

I have just finished a horse head study in solely pencils, and very happy with it!
