mate, youre pumping these out, great work - I hope you sell them all and they get seen by a LOT of people

theyre completely "on point" and to do with whats going on these days, not specifically because of the oil spill, but they make a broader statement about the general sentiment ( or lack there of ) of society this decade

you could go a long way with these works as long as each one keeps on being better than the last ( and they are ! ), and they either get more complicated/meaningful/detailed OR get more offensively pointful ( dont take that the wrong way - I feel bad about polluting and I want it to HURT when I look at those pictures - the more they do that the better they are, if that makes sense )

I think if you keep bringing these great works out and try and get some respected conservation bodies behind you it might go a long way . This might be overdoing it but the more exposure these works get the better - if one of your paintings tips someone over the edge from passive spectator saying "oh well" to active protester / selective consumer / responsible investor whatever, then its achieved a real change.
Hell, paint 20 more and hit up every gallery near you for an exhibition till one says yes ( one will see the sense , and the good publicity in doing so ) and donate a huge percentage to an enviromental cause, I have no idea at what stage your career is at, but that'd give it a real boost
(hope that didnt come across as all-knowing and pretentious)

but please, oh please, don't paint tears in the dolphins eyes. or rainbows

SOMEONE needs to be painting this, and that person is YOU
thankyou

hmmm, just noticed there was an "edit" button

I can go and delete stuff that I say that now sounds silly when I read it back, but I'm sure there's probably some point in some of the things I say when I ramble , so as always I'll leave it ( if only the DIY Furry Suit Makers of Northumbria Forum were so fortunate .. )

It is nice to see some empowering symbolic work making a statement about contemporary issues on this site. Sometimes we get so use to pretty things and doing the nice looking paintings that we need a reality check. But having said that, thats why we do paint alot of nice pretty things because real life is not so nice to look at and live in all the time. And thats exactly what your paintings show
