So much for the secret identity, D... I told you the glasses would fool nobody.

But I had glasses and a moustache!?
To answer Ocks question...
Most of this year I have been working on a series of paintings for a group exhibition in Broome.
I have signed a contract saying that I wouldn't put them on any website other than the galleries.

I have posted a few on here previous to signing the contract but don't really want to take them off.

The gallery will be putting the entire exhibition up on their website on the 28th so I’ll post a link in the art events forum on that day.
You’ve seen most of the paintings so it will be a bit ho hummish...
But the other artists are really interesting. One of my favourites is Clifford Bayly who works mainly in watercolour.

I have also been working on one of those Blurb books which looked really good. I wanted to have it ready for the exhibition.

I uploaded it today only to find out it was in a smaller size than I wanted.
I spend a little while trying to find out how to fix the problem and guess what...I have to start the bloody thing again from scratch, because you specify what size you want the book to be at the beginning and once that’s done, well it’s done.

I haven’t got much time to do that now as we have bought a new house in St Ives and I’m busy trying to get the house that we are living in ready for open house next weekend.

I think I might have a nervous breakdown now.

Thanks Ock.
And thanks for the previous compliment as well.
I wouldn't know how to price the small paintings.
Have you ever tried painting on canvas Ock? I notice that you paint on canvas boards.
You should try canvas as they are'nt as "slippery" as the canvas boards.
You might get higher prices for your unframed work as well.

Thanks Jade.
I need a few sales.
I'm starting to look behind the lounge cushions and behind the car seats for loose change to buy beer.

By the way it's only King Julian and Mike Wazowski...seriously. Laughing

Mike Wazowski

There are other members of my household that think I spend too much time on the forum so I had to change the names to protect the innocent...err and make sure I log out after each visit.

Its hard for us old dogs y'know

That definately is a big painting (and beautiful) - I don't know how you guys do it, my brain literally explodes at the thought of painting something that big. 60 x 90cm seems to be about my limit at the moment.
