| The link you have posted shows a painting that was auctioned in 2002 is this the same as the one you got from the garage sale ? please explain. |

This is a very strange story, are you telling me that you got ths painting at a garage sale , the same painting that was auctioned in 2002 
Well I suggest you contact Shapiro Auctioneers and ask them how much it sold for , there is a chance that they will not tell you because they want you to buy a $55 catalogue of the sales results, but in this case you might be OK as they have sold out of the September 2002 issue so they couldn't sell you one anyway.
But stranger still, I have checked the catalogue and Lot 380 which is the P Molena painting is missing that is it isn't listed, that could mean it didn't sell so the owner took the painting home and put it in his next garage sale 
Which tells me that the painting is probably worth what you paid for it . |
