I have something I want to share with you, as I'm sure the mainstream media will be all over the story in a day or so and I wanted to get in first.

I've just won the 2009 Chronos Award for "Best Artwork".

The Chronos Awards are a Victorian Science Fiction & Fantasy award - I got it for "My Extraordinary Life and Death", a very funny book written by Doug MacLeod, illustrated entirely with out-of-copyright woodcuts or engravings and containing no original art of any kind.

I dedicated my win to Stephen Bradbury.

Cheers

Grant

Thank you all - my goal is now to win an art award for my art.. Smile

The http://www.fordstreetpublishing.com/melad/index.html link is to a 'secret' mini-site we built to promote the book.

I need to make it clear that Doug wrote the thing and chose all the images except the cover.

Cheers

Grant

Signed by me, or Doug? - he's the author.

It can be ordered from www.fordstreetpublishing.com

Doug's in Melbourne too, so I'm sure we could get it signed.

Cheers

Grant
