Pretty interesting.
Pollock gets a mention amongst modern maths masters.

" Blue Poles" is an extroadinary painting, every portion of the painting is so perfect and beautiful, yet when you look at the whole it is so composed .
I looked at this painting for a long time and felt a great peace .

Beautiful painting .

Personally I think Blue Poles is the ultimate example of "the more you pay the more it's worth." It looks like a toilet wall. I don't get it, which makes me a Philistine I guess. It's not that I don't appreciate abstract art, just this particular art, and the way it was made... In the words of Shania Twain, "that don't impress me much."

I think Blue Poles is beautifully and creatively thought out, but from what I was told from a curator that it is irretrievably breaking down and will not go the distance of a hundred or so years from now.

But Pook, toilet walls never used to look like that, perhaps they've all been influenced.

I actually love Blue Poles and think it is a tremendous painting. I still remember clearly the first time I stood in front of it. And the same sorts of snesations come back each time. The composition, depth, musicality.....

And I think it would have been tremendous if it was only $500, it just wouldn't have been as well known among the general public. But you know, we don't all have to love every great piece of art or even 'get' every great piece of art.

I have to agree with Amanda, the second time in less than ten minutes, on different sites. Weird.
