This is the progress of our new home.
We are cladding our home in Koolwall insulation cladding.
We started putting it up this morning, it is a pretty easy task and a lot easier than carrying bricks about ! :z:
Margo checks the work !
A close up of the sheeting and render coating,
it needs 3 more coats of render to finish it off once it is up on the walls.
The end fixings, it is glued into the end rails to stop water and bugs etc.
Sorry for boring people I just think the wall insulation is cool ! ( and hopefully warm in winter ) |

Neither had we ! We looked at buying a house that was made from this stuff but the block of land was to small. So we bought the block across the road and got the builder ( who owned the other house ) to build one for us.
It is pretty easy to work with and looks like it will be great insulation both summer and winter |
