Hi Everyone,
I was just wondering how other people get their creative pieces out in the public eye and how you sell works?
I have recently started using Etsy (online market for handmade and vintage goods http://www.etsy.com/shop/Laurarty ) and have some paintings hanging in a cafe but have not had much interest besides 1 sale.
It would be great if people could share their experiences and ideas so myself and others could learn a little - or hopefully a lot!
Thanks! |

Hi!
I've had some luck selling through www.redbubble.com. I'm thinking of trying www.risingartist.com, too.
I've tried community art exhibitions and some of my friends have tried setting up their own stalls at market places.
Unfortunately, I've found that the easiest way for me to sell anything is to put it on a shirt Dammit! |

Hey thanks for the advice
It's great to hear that there are actually people out there who can sell their work!
It is funny what people want to buy - I guess they might see t-shirts as more practical.
Do you have anything for sale on the internet at the moment? I would love to have a look at your stuff. |
