Can you remember the style of dress? It seems to me it is probably late 19th early 20th Century but am guessing.

So near and yet so far, no path or walking and it is not an oil painting. LOL

Sometimes the best laughs come when your expectations are low.

Thought I'd take a look at a dry old thread out of boredom, and ended up having big, outloud laughs at the dry humour instead. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Glad I didn't miss it! You guys are funny, even if it goes over some heads.

I think that medivh should draw a sketch of the painting... maybe that would help.
In charcoal and pencil perhaps?

looks like the painting i have been looking for, quite similar style. the difference lies on that the painting was square and the girl took a smaller ratio on the painting. she was walking on a road and there were hills behind her.
sorry guys i do not know how to draw...
