Hey everyone!

Prickie is a fantastic website with an incredibly diverse range of artists selling their badges. It's in US$ unfortunately but I've kept my prices as low as they can go so hopefully you'll like what I've got going on (if you're into that kind of thing)! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Neil,
It is a good idea. Can I ask you to take a look at http://www.illustrationfriday.com
See how they have a 50x50px thunbnail denoting each illustrator.
I like this idea as it it easier for visitors to get some idea of the designer and stops the artist getting lost amongst hundreds of others if thier design is good.
I believe it increases sales too as many visitors will only look a a few names but many pictures, increasing sales.
Hust a thought to bear in mind as you are developing your site.  |

Thanks Kayleen! That is a great idea! However, my post must have been a little bit misleading. I don't own Prickie.com! I will suggest that to the owners though... I know when I went to have a look at the site for the first time, I just clicked on random artist names because their name doesn't really give you any indication of what you're going to see.
So yeah I was just saying that I have some badges up on Prickie.com under the name N.E.I.L. so I thought I'd ask people to take a look at them and give me some feedback (or buy them if you want!)  I probably should have waited until after the update though 'cos I haven't got much on there.

As requested, I'm back to let you know that my shop @ Prickie.com has been updated!! FINALLY!
Unfortunately one of the badges doesn't look at all like it did on my computer when I submitted it  So I'm gonna have to re-do that one... The problem is it takes around two weeks to get it updated 'cos you actually e-mail the files to them!
Other than that, I'm super-happy with how they've all come out though... The only thing I do think is that the shop could use a theme. I guess I'm still experimenting with lots of different styles. Here ya go ---> http://www.prickie.com/index.htm?artist=e49

Neil I see what you mean about that dark image. I think that one would be populat too.
That is a flamin long time to wait for an upload though, they need to work on that on fast. |
