The painting that Stefan has posted was painted By Braque in 1913 almost at the end of the Analytic phase and at the start of the synthetic stage.

In comparison to this painting my works look cartoonish.
The black lines that I put around my forms are very clean. It's my signwriting past coming out.

I am more in tune with this style of cubism.
Picasso 1917

another one of mine fromTAFE.

I like your cubist style works. Your teacher must have explained it really well. Would have liked to be there. Cubism is of course a style with no real rules so your individual interpretation is totally valid.

Thankyou Belle Very Happy

Your number 4 is more like the Picasso. On the other hand the figure you've just posted is not bad at all. Sold as well?

Yes

Why don't you give this style a whirl Stefan.
It's easier than it looks.

Onto it. I will attempt only synthetic though, as I am not a very analytic person.

I don't believe you it looks hard to me.

Or, more accurately, it looks easy to do badly.
