I'm a liar and a fraud!!! LOL. I took the canvas down to reach the face and thought "If this was 2 metres it would be taller than me" It is only 150by about 120. I've been used to working on some really big canvases last year and had taken a guess. |

LOL no.. it's centimetres.
I won't post Day 2 as it is probably difficult to see the difference. My sound system died and all the joy went. It is under warrantee from the last time it was fixed so will take it in tomorrow. |

Hi Pete
I love your work, just went to your website as well. Your work is such fun and beautiful as well. Unfortunately the painting of the house has taken over from the painting in the studio. It is neverending and I am so over it. |

wow haha, the first page is all about the destroyed art and second page is another, belle's brilliant painting
so first of all, art is anything that can be called as ART, yes, it's too broad to be defined. But I only appreciate the beautiful art, and I believe it's also the most important and practical function of art, to please the sensation of people.
second, for belle's work, well done and impressive! |

Finished! Well probably as much as I can if I want to take it to Sydney next Friday. I'd like to put a glaze over it before then but drying is an issue. I've been told numerous times that I overwork my paintings and it is probably true of this one as well. At least I am aware of it.

I can relate to that. In fact I am your partner in crime when it comes to playing Scrabble instead of doing things I need to do!
This is a fantastic portrait Lyn - well done! |

| Truly a terrific portrait Lyn. No glaze required, just a spray of retouch varnish before you take it to Sydney and (fingers crossed) acceptance into THE prize. I have fingers and toes crossed for you! |
