I have finally got around to posting some pictures of the painting I have.
I have a large painting done by this artist in the late 1970's.
It is signed 'PETER Lau' . first name in upper case last name in lower.
From back view looks to be painted om masonite. It is not canvas.
It is framed and measures around 4ft by 2.5ft
It is a painting of Notre Dame, looks to be in period of 1800's from the way people are dressed.
It is painted in oils.
Any one have any idea where I could get it valued? I live in Canberra area.
Does anyone know of this artist?
Much appreciate any help you have to offer.

Hi there Bonhams and Goodman are very reputable and do have a very good on line service....although a little slow.
You have to post very clear and detailed pictures to them together with a clear close up shot of the signature.
Why not post a photo on here first then the people on the forum maybe able to help you.
