Laser Cutter for small jobs Melbourne???

Hi,

Does anyone know of any laser cutters who are willing to work on small jobs which are not worth thousands of dollars? All the places I ring are in the industrial or signage sectors and don’t want to bother with an ‘arty type’...

Melbourne.

Any help or info would be appreciated beyond words, pictures or gestures.

What did you need cut? and how many?And what size?

Ply wood. 600mm x 450mm

Around 10 prints (pieces).

It will be ongoing but costs are a consideration... ?

I know of someone in Dandenong who has bought a laser cutter and does smalll runs of things for people. They are not expensive. I will have to find their phone number for you.

Wow - brilliant! If you could find their contact details, that would be a very happy thing! At the moment most laser cutting companies wont even bother reply to my email requests for quotes, even after a follow up phone call, and when they do they are obviously quoting above any normal person's expectations... so your help would be much appreciated.
