Hi something for you to look at please

Hi and just a rather well done original painting for you to have a look at.

Subject looks like a little bittern /night heron..........

Can make out the surname seems to be cox........perhaps graham cox...date is 91.....just done onto art paper..anyone recognise this style........or can give me some pointers please
