Anyone on this forum from the Sunshine Coast?

I will spend next week on the Sunshine Coast. Any suggestions, galleries, artist studios, demonstrations?

On the Sunshine Coast you will find a fair few galleries around the Maleny area. There is also the Caloundra Regional Gallery. Stefan go to this link and you will find lots of different things listed with addresses and weblinks

I'm not terribly familiar with the Sunshine coast ones so can't tell you much about them but I have heard there is a lot of activity.

If you go a bit further south to Brisbane I'd recommend Bruce Heiser, Jan Manton, Philip Bacon, Edwina Corlette. And further south again is the Gold Coast with Anthea Polson Art (who represent me), Karen19, Lorraine Pilgrim @ Nyst, the Gold Coast Art Gallery.....quite a few others too but I'm guessing the Sunshine Coast will keep you busy enough.

Hi Stefan
I haven't been to all the galleries on the Sunshine Coast but the ones I recommend would be 'The Gallery Beneath' at Mooloolaba, 'Art Nuvo' and 'Tiffany Jones Fine Art' at Buderim.

There are heaps of others scattered around the coast - every regional centre has at least one.

I missed your message but I had a great time on the Sunshine Coast.
The Maleny area I think is overrated, but I loved Eumundi, Noosa, Mooloolaba and Buderim.
The economic downturn has some great advantages - one of them being that most galleries are putting their stockrooms on display. Some very good stuff everywhere (noted this today in Adelaide at Hill Smith as well.)
I will start writing about my experience on my blogs.
