I'm helping out with concept art in a mod, well more of a total conversion for mount and blade turning it into a Fallout game, and am working on a supermutant at the moment. I've nearly finished the body, just gotta do the armour, but here's the head! I'm pretty happy with it I think I'm getting better!

Hi Wendy! Ha - a boo factory, very cool terminology.

I painted it in photoshop. It's just the same as painting but no drying time woooohooooo and no squinting coz you can zoom.

A mod is a 'modification' of a pre-existing game. For example, adding different armour etc to be uploaded into the game and utilised within it.
A total conversion is a bloody huge mod that is so big its no longer a mod its nearly a new game, but uses the same engine as the game. So we're taking Mount and Blade, which is a medieval game, and doing a mod/total conversion for it. Our mod is Fallout (which is another game, a post apocolyptic game) so I'm doing the concept art. This is a supermutant, which is copyright Bethesda Fallout, but our take on it for the game. I guess its just like one big fan project but you end up with a really cool game in the end. My fiance is participating in one too, but instead of Fallout they're making a Lord of the Rings one, which is really really really massive and has been on the go for a couple of years now.

I'm probaly just confusing you more though I'm so hopeless at explaining things!
