660 x 450mm on 640gsm Arches Medium.
The latest in a series that completely avoids trees (except as distant specks.)

I really like your painting!!!
I love chooks!!
I have several... there are a couple who are always trying to make a break for it.... Oogie boogie and Cackleberry are our escape artists at present, timidly followed on occasion by Bumnutt and Emo, the only one who stays put is Waddle, and she is our disabled chook who is old and walks like an old army general ( who cant bend his knees!!)
Eggs anyone????
Why the snow covered alps??

I got sick of people asking "Yo, mah man, where's it's feet at?" so I gave in and added some. I'm sure you would agree that this significantly improves the whole dynamic and balance of the piece.
Cheers

Hi all... her feet arent on back to front ... she is looking over her shoulder...
If her feet had been placed either side of the tail facing that direction, she wouldnt look as though she was flying, but that she was being thrown...
They do fly (if you can call it that!) with their feet up....but chooks can only sort of leap and flap for a couple of meters...
I hope i am right and not missing something....
Its a gorgeous painting!!
It is so much like one of our chooks! Making an escape ...perhaps to Mt Baw Baw... (its the closest snow to here!!)
