Hi all - this is the one I was having trouble with the sky wash (again). This is number #3. As usual, now it's finished I've gone off the whole idea. I have a spare frame, so I'll stick it in that and see if it looks any better.
Cheers

| Grant it looks good and is well painted , but what is it ? do you intend to sell it ? I feel if you paint something that is a bit esoteric you are going to limit the number prospective buyers. |

So true, but you get quality buyers instead - good for the long run. It is not esotheric at all, however. Love the sky - so natural!
The whole thing in a nice frame can fit between my two Adam Bogusz when I rearange the wall.
Don't you think? |

This is brilliant Grant.
I love the intense colour in the sky and the way that you have painted the mountains, it's very good.
I also like the intrigue of the old gates that lead to...enlightenment?
I think that triangular compositions work very well.
So different, so good. |

| Eyes bugged out when I saw this one I think it's fantastic..the "gate" as it were compliments the mountains..it's just right if you know what I mean |

Thanks Patsy - when I'd finished it, I thought: the mountains are OK, shame about the gate & rock... Because it didn't look like what was in my head, I've gone off it. Luckily, you can't see what's in my head (It's mostly grey, and runny.)
Do you do any fantasy work?
Cheers
