Hi, I'm new to this, and soon to be new to Sydney...

I'm moving over from the UK, i've recently finished my degree in Fine Art Printmaking and i'm looking to get straight back into it as soon as i make the move.

So basically all i ask of you nice people, is whats the arts scene like? how easy is it to rent some studio space, if you do so what sort of price am i likely to have to pay please... and any other insights you can offer me really..

Thanks

Welcome to the forum BT167
Firstly I'd like to say goodluck with finding a studio. Its very hard to find studio space in Sydney. There are plenty of studios around but they always seem to have long wainting lists that never end and requests to get a space never seem to eventuate.
Anyways you could try the following places: Addison Road Marrickville, Lennox Street Studios Newtown, Mary Street Studios, St Peters and 1+2 Artist Studios Balmain...
Guess it depends where you live.
Otherwise you could just rent a space (factory/warehouse/officespace/garage) and use that.
Cheers
Brett
