Hi, I'm an eighteen year old about to start at artschool, my main influences are colours from 1920's advertising posters, woodcarvings, old fashioned signwriting, pattern, architecture and realism.
I'm currently interested in interpreting human relationships, memories(and the lack of them) warmth and decisions through my artwork.
These are a few quick examples of some work from grade 12.
(Sorry they are so naive)

Very nice work Allison, it's sensitive and sensual. I hope you'll share your artistic journey with us here, it would be wonderful to watch how your vision unfolds.

At the moment just taking some oil painting lessons in a traditional style, I'm not sure if it is going to be extremely important in the future or whether it may just be a good basis for some style experimenting.
being shown how white is a cold colour, has been big for me and not using black in any mix if possible.
Really looking forward to painting a new series of portraits and looking at also doing some oil paintings through the construction stages of my house that my father and my boyfriend and I are building together.
construction reallyseriously interests me. mmm. how things work...
excited.

| I notice from your profile that you like "collecting." What do you collect? |

| I like collecting antique woodworking tools, it's more as i find them collecting as apposed to auction house collecting etc. |
