You have just 3 days to get your Itchiball Prize 2007 entries in! $3000 prize.

Quote:
A further extension of The MOPBA was the establishment of the “Itchiball Prize”, where the general public submitted pieces of Art, either their own or found works, in an attempt to claim this ‘prestigious’ prize.

The inaugural winner in 2005, Mr William Eicholtz, was presented with a cheque for a $2,000 Windsor shopping spree as reward for entering the worst artwork, (Pictured), in the competition.

Last year's winner, Mr Craig McGee, won a $3,000 Chapel St Shopping Spree with his stunning entry - Last Gasp Grannie.

Entries are being called for this year's Itchiball Prize.

Entry Form

‘What makes Bad Art?’, I hear you ask.

Well, the criteria are simple(ish):

Completely devoid of technical skill (Colour, tone, perspective and shading)
Unusual, poor or tasteless subject matters (Preferably all three!)
Undeniable passion, driven by an uneducated hand.
That ‘special’ feeling that forms in your gut

Earlier this year I made a list of contests to enter, some core and some non-core. I managed to get an entry into all the core ones. It takes a bit of energy. This one I only discovered this morning, so sadly I won't be entering. Crying or Very sad
