Hi there, can anyone provide me with information on the artist Aldo Rocco. I believe he lived in Sydney & Central Coast in the late sixties. He sold paintings to several Hollywood celebrities - and was well known for geometric clown style characters.

Hi Doug,
Was just searching Aldo Rocca's work out of curiosity and came across your post via google. I don't have much information on me right now, but I believe Aldo did spend some time in either Sydney or Melbourne. My grandfather's sister was his partner for many years, and as a result we have two of his original paintings in the family - both of which I'm really fond of. I know that there's a book about his life and works somewhere in the family (not sure who might have it currently) - I will try to track it down and fill out more of the 'aldo rocca' picture for you. |
