I am so slack at keeping up with my sketching and drawing but the fact is I need a kick up the bum to keep on top of it - so I decided to be very proactive and create a blog where me and my friends could have a catalyst for at leash one drawing per week!
I thought others might benefit as well! The first challenge is almost up but it would be ok to use a previous drawing and start fresh next week

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum. I've only recently started to learn to draw with no prior experience really.
I didnt enjoy art in school. But now I'm passionate about learning. Like many others motivation is the problem.
But also I think I'm blocked as I'm not sure what I want to express. It is challenging to keep up the practice as it can easily get put off till later lol. I'm sure you have experienced that. And of course later never happens. Well anyway I'll try to put in a drawing (I hope I can anyway). This looks like a great forum. I noticed one of the members was drawing in Echuca. I live in Echuca and love the area. The river has many moods. It has been very high recently, you probably have heard of the flooding. WEll I will go now before I go on for too long. Regards Pauline |

| Pauline I would love for you to submit something even if its only in sketch form! The whole point of this is just to get back into the habit of drawing!! Challenge #2 is now up and is just for a 'still life'. Nice and easy but also can be interpreted in a number of different ways for people to do different thinhgs with it! |

| Hi Lisa, I'll see how it goes. I've just noticed you are in Queensland. I hope everything worked out ok with all the floods and cyclone for you. Pauline |
