| Cheers Maria. The colours are a little off true in that pic too I've just noticed. |

Hi,
I really want to get into portrait work. I have done a little over a handful of good portraits (i.e. not very many).
Here is a photo of one of a portrait that I have in my folio. I did it 11 years ago! back when I was still in highschool.
It is a pastel drawing of a black-and-white photo of Boris Becker.

Well I entered a portrait of Professor Eric Saint of the Queensland University, circa 80's in to the Archibald. I had all the hassle of eight
sittings in my studio. His precious time before early lectures.
I sent it off, expensive freight from Brisbane to Sydney. It came back and I could see that it had not even been unwrapped. "Egg on my face"
Never Again!

it's really wonderful,if we paint the kiss on your wedding day, your baby’s first steps and the love of your grandparents.
Walk again through the grass at your family cottage and have forever to remember the first sunset of your honeymoon. Laugh once more over your birthday party and revisit the pride you felt on your awaited graduation day.
