Another one in the surfing series. Taj Burrow again, throwing an extraordinary amount of water from an awesomely powerful and fast top turn. I was standing with a group of surfers and officials with years of experience at the elite level, and there was a collective gasp of amazement and awe when he pulled off this move. It was the highest spray I had ever seen. And to prove it wasn't a fluke, he did it again, possibly even bigger, a couple of waves later. This is what one of the top surfers in the world can do, just incredible.
Oil on canvas, 55cm x 150cm or 22" x 60".

| I really admire how you paint waves Marty. I've only recently joined the forum and have a lot of catching up to do, so I may have missed previous clues, but I guess this post gives you away as someone who looks at waves with more than the ordinary sort of admiration. I love it. |

Great work Marty.
You have painted everything so well.
The colours are perfect as is the spray and foam..probably the hardest part to paint convincingly. |
