Hi All,
I found this print 'Gethsemane' of Jesus by Thomas Mostyn down in an old shed in the backyard. It is a little water damaged, however the house was built in 1870, and it is quite possible it was from around the late 1800's to early 1900's time period. Here is the picture:
Do you guys think it has any value, and if so, any recommendations on good places it could be sold?
Thankyou - any comments are much appreciated |

I could be wrong but this looks like a print from the 1980's stuck onto a piece of Masonite with wallpaper paste and then taken out of the frame and left to die a lonely death in the garden shed.
I hope that I'm wrong.
It looks to me as if someone valued the frame more than the print. |

| I imagine the cost of a conserver to restore the paper would far out-weight any sale value. |

frame it as it is and chuck it on eBay with a reserve of $4000 and see what happens
worst comes to worst and you get called out as a fraudster you can claim that that is your "art" - playing on the social value of ancient perceptions of bla bla bla, best case you get a couple grand and some poor fool gets a glued-on print of jebus |
