| I was just wondering if anybody knew whether the Life Model Society was still operating? Their website doesn't seem to have had any activity since last year, and their blog link hasn't been active since 2006. Anybody know if something similar is currently operating in Victoria/Melbourne? I'm interested in trying life modelling to supplement my meagre art student income, and I'm not too sure which is the best way to proceed. |

no idea, but Im posting so I can be subscribed to any replies
I dont want to model but wondering where I could find some classes where a model is available. None of the arty groups in this small town seem like they have any such thing happening.
My suggestion to you though if you want to do some modeling is to approach the art schools that are within your travel area. Find out whoever is in charge of drawing and ask if you can trial sitting/modeling. If they like how you work they will get back to you for more classes. Im saying this based on people I know who have modeled for schools (but in other countries). |
