Hi,

I have a painting by H Farrow (maybe Helen Farrow).
Anyone know of the artist and her works?

Thanks

Hi Anth

No-one by that name is yet to be traded on the Australian secondary market. There are a few other Farrows though. There are records for a Grace, Gwen and Kenneth Terence Farrow. Is it possible that it could be one of these?

Good luck with it.

Hi Anth,

Yes! I just bought a second hand framed painting for the frame. I just opened the back and found this on the back of the painting 'Helen Farrow, Watercolourist, St Kilda Esplanade, 5 Stalls from clock tower, Ph 95314050'. I hope that helps you with your search! The whole size including frame is - 275mm x 225mm. The painting itself is - 135mm x 170mm.

I don't think Helen Farrow would be to happy to know people only buy her work for the frame Shocked

:) You are right Tango, I have not used the frame for anything else, I like the scene and it is hanging on my bedroom wall now. It is a lovely impression of a summer day at the beach.
