Second painting for my series. Here I have come 5 years forward from the 'Don't Eat the Daisies' painting posted earlier. This is about two sisters and their little brother on a holiday to the beach. In those days outer clothes weren't washed after each wear so in order not to get their dresses and aprons too dirty, they carried a stick to lift possible finds and only if worthy of their collection did they bend down to collect the shell. I loved doing this one, does it appeal?

I think it looks fantastic. The soft colours add to its time and appeal. As for the underpants, lol, that has conjured up all kinds of thoughts about your painting process.  |
