I'm with Salieri from Amadeus: "too many notes.."
That said - I admire his skill. I can't play to 1% of what he does... but if I could, I probably wouldn't play what he does.
Cheers

I saw Joe Satriani live when I was a teenager, he was great, I enjoyed the concert... but own none of his CD's!!
At the moment... Janes Addictionis the flavour of the week and Dave Navarro has quite a style to his music that I really like!
I used to play guitar... but didnt quite get the grasp of it!
I would love to have the skill to paint photo realism... but add my own spin on it! ( Imagine fairies being eaten in photo realist style!! ) |

| Yes that's a good one Stefan, I've even got a better version of Mediterranean Sundance which is on a vinyl LP with just Paco & Al De Miola going at it.... |

My wife is a Stones fan - when it looked like they were never going to tour again, she dragged me along to see Jagger - the next best thing. In the middle of the gig the rest of the band took a break while this guitarist took a 15 minute solo spot. While everybody else was going out to get ice-creams or beers, I watched this guy shred up a storm, fret-tapping, the whole bit and thought "whoa..."
10 years later, I dug out the program to see who he was... It was Satch. "Always with Me" hadn't come out then, so nobody had heard of him.

How did I miss a thread involving Yngrie Malmsteem? The pain of car trips as Vlad listened to his very enormous collection of Yngrie CDs. I have henced banned them from the car.
