Hi, I have this picture I would like to sell. But I have no idea of valuation or where to sell it.

I have tried contacting Bonhams and Goodman but email bounced back.

I have had it for about 35 years, and have no idea of real value. It may be worth $5 but sure would hate to sell for that if it were to be valued at something greater!

Painted by Peter Lau, measures 4ft x 2.5ft and is painted in oils on Masonite.

Here are some pictures:

Anything else you need, please ask.

Thanks

I don't Know Peter Lau but if you Google him there seems to be a few of them. The painting looks like a poorly painted Notre Dame so your guess of $5 could be close , but try selling on eBay you never know your luck.

I like the way they used to paint foliage with a shaving brush back then.

Thank you every one for your time. I have my answer from a very talented art appraiser here in Canberra.
