Hi,
I'm in the northern rivers area (kingscliff specifically) and I'm trying to find what life drawing groups there are.
Failing that, are there any life drawing models/listing of models anywhere?
(Because if there isn't anything about I probably wouldn't mind starting a group.
I know in Brisbane for example Leeton agency is the sort of go-to, but I have no idea what the story is where I am.
I am aware of a class at the tweed galley(but its a bit expensive considering), and maybe one or two in byron-(there was one that sounded alright0.
I'm guessing these groups must have lists of models they draw upon?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
.

Hello,

In responce to your questions, I know of two sessions in byron bay (byron drill hall on fridays, 10am start). (Also wednesdays, 10am start, and saturdays, 1pm start for the broken heads group).

There is another class in lismore, (serendipity gallery, tuesdays at 6:30pm start) and another in mullumbimby on wednesday, 10am start, at the mullum drill hall. There is another in tweed heads as you also are aware of, and is a tad to expensive.

If you are also thinking of starting a group together in kings cliff, I am also a life drawing model, and would be willing to model for your group. My contact details is: 0430760125

Kind regards
Yours in Art

Ah! Mullumbimby sounds interesting.

I don't have group just yet but its possible I'd pay for a model on my own until I found some like minded souls to share the cost.

Thanks figure study.

Egad- that's that dynamic drawing class.
I just want to draw the model-
I don't think they'd let me do that there.

*sigh*
