This is a great place to visit.
There is an interesting old fish hatchery near by this spot and there are fish jumpimg out of the clear water offshore (probably being chased by something big in the depths)

| This is my favourite one of yours yet! It's just divine, feels like maybe 100 years ago when the tourists hadn't congregated over all the beaches, and you could still have a whole beach to yourself and enjoy the quiet serenity, the sound of birds calling, the water breaking. I can almost feel the coolness of the water. Thanks for sharing this with us! I'd buy it but it would depress me too much lol |

Great colour in this one, Daniel, and a wonderful sense of space and distance. _________________ "Hey, your painting looks like what it looks like" Homer Simpson

Yeah another triumph Daniel, well done!
Is it an aerial shot from a helicopter or ultralight or something? Or are you standing on a headland looking down? It's a different point of view from your last one which was at water level. I like it. |

Thanks everyone.
I think I should try to paint more backlit scenes like this. |

Sorry Pook.
The reference photo was taken from a low cliff edge probably about 10 or 15 feet up above sea level.
Here's some more pics of the same area.
There was mainly rocks with only a small section of sand.
