Registrations are open for the second International Outsiders Festival - Adelaide - September - 2010
The West Torrens Auditorium and other venues to be announced in due course.
The conditions are the same as for the Outsiders Festival - Adelaide 2009:
AU$ 20 for 3 pieces ( max 1m x 1m x 1m)
AU$ 5 for 3 images to be projected during the festival
Performing artists - free
10% commission on sales
Due to increased interest from Overseas, places are filling fast.

Tomorrow marks on month since Bernard Lacoque, probably the most prolific artist in the Outsiders group on Redbubble has left us.
To honour his life and art, The Outsiders Festival - Adelaide 2010 will be dedicated to Bernard.
Last year, he wrote:
"I feel very much honoured by your proposition …The idea is great and it would have been a great plaisure to take part to the festival but actually I am fighting against cancer, I am really exhausted and I fear I have not any strenght left.I will have a look at the block and at your galery, but really I fear that my strenght fails.Thank you again.Bernard."
He was 47

between
14.02.2010 and 07.04.2010
It just happens to cover the period of the Adelaide and Adelaide Fringe festivals

Please note that registrations will be suspended when we reach 90 artworks. Registrations may be re-open if suitable venues can be found. If not, there's always 2011. Thanks all for your support.

The Outsiders Festival, at the second edition this year is an international festival.
If the censors on this forum have decided to move the thread, they may have to do this with every single event that originates in NSW for example, such as the Archibald.
In any case, I could have been asked about this, I would have thought.
You may have noticed that not all events have posted adverts on this site - The Outsiders festival, although has a very limited budget has, and that helps this site to be online.
I would appreciate if you could do the right thing.

I honestly don't understand why I am treated this way. I am asking kindly for the monitors of this forum to resolve the issue of the thread about the Outsiders Festival being moved from the Events section to the SA section. It is so frustrating to have to ask this so many time and get silence or ironic abuse. I thought we were here to promote art not to backstab each other.
Please, could monitors do the right thing?
